I love all design, and I’m proud of the many works of art that surround us every day. My dream was to become an iconic designer in the footwear industry someday, but I knew I had to embark on finding a school that offered fashion design. The task wasn’t easy, but I was determined to reach my goal. It took 6 years to realize I was more than a footwear designer, so I began looking into other areas of design and found an area of interest. I found that fashion arts were kin to graphic arts without the dress fittings and early visits to the fabric store. So far, Independence University offers quality training that I can take virtually anywhere at any time. The curriculum is up to date and hands-on that many students in need of flexibility can benefit from. The flexible schedule allows me to study smart at my own pace, and I love it.
