My name is Henry Porter. I’m from the southeast suburbs of Illinois, born November 17, 91. I started working with pencils, and pens at 23 just before my son was born in 2009. My artistic abilities came out of nowhere, but my first hands-on project was to create a fashionable but functional heel for women. My ability to draw over the years mainly in fashion has extended into Graphic Arts. I think working with text, images and building relationships with clients is what inspired me. I learned that the most important element of design is communication. I want to create work that’s broad and effective for users to understand. Face it, the world we live in is influenced by persuasive design that produces effective communication for us to understand. I made design my life and air to influence others over time.
